I speak French to the children in my care and teach them French through conversation, songs and reading stories.

I am bilingual, speaking fluent French and English. I went to school in France and lived and worked there for many years. I am trained in how to teach French and taught French at "123 Soleil", the French school in Maidenhead, for 6 years. I developed and taught the French course for 3 year old children. The children I taught are now speaking fluent French.
I have also trained with Parapluie Flam and have a certificate in How to Teach Children French.
Listening to the French sing-along songs I play, the children have fun joining in with the actions and soon learn the words. It is much easier for a child to learn a second language at a young age. With continual exposure, over time children can speak French fluently. In addition to the language acquisition, learning a second language opens up pathways in the brain which enhances their learning potential for the future.
